One snowy afternoon at the North Pole, Santa Claus was in such a jolly mood that he jokingly asked Dwindle, his youngest elf, to keep an eye on the North Pole while he and Mrs. Claus went on a little vacation to Florida.
Dwindle was excited. His smile reached from ear to ear, and his eyes twinkled. “You need to hurry up!” Dwindle told Santa. “You don’t want to miss your plane.”
That night, Dwindle did not sleep well. He had many new ideas in his little elf head about how to run the North Pole.
